The Acoustic Shed Rental Agreement
- The instrument indicated below is the property of The Acoustic Shed and is leased to the undersigned, who is fully responsible for the same until the lease is terminated by returning the instrument to The Acoustic Shed, or their assigned agent.
- The Acoustic Shed will provide all repair work on the instrument required to keep it in playing condition. Repairs incurred from malicious damage or negligence are not covered. Should the instrument be damaged beyond repair, lost, or stolen, a replacement cost of $900 will be due immediately. Any repairs made to the instrument other than by The Acoustic Shed will void coverage. Coverage does not include restoration of finishes, or the replacement of expendable accessories. Lost or broken cases or bows will be replace at 75% of retail cost. Coverage void if account is delinquent more than 30 days.
- Should the undersigned move from the address listed above, The Acoustic Shed must be notified within 30 days.
- If a missed payment is 60 days past due this contract is void and the instrument must be returned to The Acoustic Shed. Failure to do so will result in repossession and collection proceedings. Back payments, late fees, N.S.F. charges, and a repossession fee will be assessed to clear the account.
- It is understood that this is a RENTAL contract only, and that The Acoustic Shed is the owner of the instrument. They, or their agent may pick it up wherever the instrument is located. This agreement and instrument are non-transferable.
- A charge of $35 will be assessed for all N.S.F checks.
- Payments 10 days past due are subject to a late charge of $20 per transaction.
- All contracts require a credit card on file. Month to Month, School Year and Rent to Own contracts will be billed monthly on a automatic recurring payment system. It is the responsibility of the customer to keep the card on file up to date. Fees will apply for late or missed payments.
- The School Year Rental allows for 90% of payments made to be used towards the purchase of the instrument or an upgrade instrument (subject to available stock) at the end of the lease period. The lease credit must be used within 10 days upon the return of the instrument or it is forfeited
10. The undersigned agrees to these terms and conditions as set forth by this contract and is responsible for all fees associated in the event they violate the contract.
